What is the name of the yellow sour flower?

I've been wondering all my life and i still dont know what the flower's name is. I used to chew on this plant when i was small. I want to taste it again and i want to buy seeds to grow some in my backyard :) but i dont know wat they're called...

What is the name of the yellow sour flower?
its dandelions.
Reply:Sounds like "Bermuda Buttercups", a species of Oxalis.

Not somethng you shuld plant. They become obnoxious weeds very easily. But I have seen them for sale.
Reply:sour grass or cape sorrel
Reply:Its sorrel. That is Old French for sour. In Texas we called ours sheep shire or sheep sorrel when I was a kid. Don't eat too much.

Dandilions are bitter, sorrel is sour. Sorrel type found in Texas looks sort of like clover with light green leaves that are tiny and the flowers are very small and yellow.
