IF the container in which you put the nectar in is red they will come to it better. I have had a pink one and no luck with it.
I now have bought a clear one, and just put coloring into my own receipe.
I just bought a new hummingbird feeder. it's pink w/yellow flowers for the nectar.will the birds come? or red?
The flowers to them look more natural and they can smell the sweetness of th nectar, beside the feeders with the flowers look more attractive

Reply:Yes they will find it. The red thing is a myth. They feed from all colors of flowers so it will be fine if it is not red.
