it has fruits? about the size of a baseball or larger and look like watermelons-dark green and light green striping. If you open them them smell good almost like cucumbers but have a yellow squash like interior. are they ediable, what are they?

Reply:This is called Coyote Squash. It grows wild here in Vegas and Is hard as hell to get rid of .. If you look online you can find some really good recipes .type in google coyote squash and photos you will see a few photos there that resemble what you described.
