What's the name of a vine with beautiful flowers that look like little brown-and-yellow butterflies?

I saw the flowers hanging down from the ceiling of a patio and it reminded me of fairy tales. How do I grow them?

This could be a Black-eyed Susan vine (thunbergia alata). This is very easy to grow. You can get seeds and sow them 1/4 inch under ground after the ground heats to about 70 degrees, or you can buy a plant. They usually come about a foot high on a trellis, when you can find them. You can save seeds to replant every year if it is an annual in your area.
Reply:thnaks for the answer but i've finally found the name, and it's lady slipper vine. Report It
