What colors would go with a golden yellow?
I'm redoing my bathroom and the tub and sinks are this golden yellow color. I plan on changing them to white but right now, I have to work with them. I have dark brown flooring in the bathroom which I am planing on changing too. My shower curtain is a beign color with tiny light and dark pink flowers.
If anyone has any thoughts or ideas about my project please let me know!. Thanks!! =)

You have the right idea in not trying to ignore the yellow fixtures. In doing so they will be more obvious. I personally would look for a shower curtain with gold and brown in it, to help tie in with the flooring and fixtures. Add luxurious towels in brown, beige and cream to create a soothing color palette.

When you take flowers to the cementary, do they remove them or should I go back and get them?
My parents head stone has a vase on each side, so I bought some pink roses and yellow roses to go in the vases. Of course they are fake. I just want to know if the caretakers throw the flowers away? Someone told me they did.
My mother loved big flowers.

Reply:Hi, I know here they are not too strict on flowers in urns. I usually take the old ones out when I go up to put new ones in. With the old ones, I put them in the ground on older graves that have no flowers because they are so old that noone goes to them. The whole backside of cemetery has flowers now and it looks nice, not just old stones that noone can read.
But alot of cemeterys have a sign with "rules" at the gates.
This year I plan on planting a lilac bush behind one of the graves.

I caught the caretaker removing them one day and I told him that he could keep taking them out if he wanted too but I was going to be back the next day and bring more . it was his choice . Well anyway he stood 6 ft tall and me I am 5'5 so he told me I was a wiry little thing . He now lets me put flowers there and he left strict instructions for no one to mess with the flowers i lay down there .

Im Planting yellow onions, do they flower when they grow?
Read the bottom paragraph of the link below...You do not pick onions untill they have flowered, then the top of them fall over and go brown or dried out on you..The green top starts dying off and when it falls over cuts the water off to the top so the onion below can cure and grow some more..once the onion top has completely dried they are ready to pick...they will not be inedible as suggested here,....

You will have to spray paint the outside.

AD3: Phlox subulata does best in full sun (6 hours or more) with a well drained, coarse soil. I have seen some very dense %26amp; healthy plantings in foundation beds on the eastern (morning sun) side of homes.
Reply:It sure looks like giant purple hyacinth and hyacinth blooms at about the same time. It is too large in respect to the iris to be creeping phlox. It looks just like a hyacinth in full bloom.
