My tomato plants are turning Yellow...and getting kinda whimpy.?

I had little yellow flowers on my plants....and a couple of them turned into tomatoes...but they are struggling...I still have them in pots...I water them every day...I give them full Sun-Shine....but they seem to be turning Yellow and the leaves are getting whimpy....what am I doing wrong....?

get a good 10-10-10 fertilizer stop watering them every day. I grow tomatoes on my deck but they are all in half wooden barrels. Fertilize them about 25 percent the strength the package calls for . do that every couple months. But like most plants they don't like being wet all the time. you may have to throw away the plants...they may be too far gone to rescue...

Reply:You are watering too much.Tomatos need one or two good soaks a week,preferably at dusk or when the sun has gone down.It sounds also as if you have a mineral deficiency.Ask your local garden center for your region. It might be nitrogen or something like that

Reply:Magnolia blooms are special to both Carolinas. I thought they were the state flower of one of them, but I am not sure and don't know the history of why.

depending on how big the flower is I would just call it flower.. or if its a particular flower like: Daisy





um but if its a small flower Id call it something related to the action that's taking place.. like stroll across the street.. or maybe something more romantic





though I think yellow symbolizes friendship or something lighthearted like a first date.. I mean, it could have been a red rose right?

I want yellow and blue flowers for my outdoor, country wedding. I wanted bluebonnets, but was told since they are wildflowers, they wouldn't last very long. I cannot seem to find a good website with info about this type of thing with info about specific flowers, their season, color, and hardiness. Roses are usually available all year round for the same price, why not try yellow roses with iris or blue delphinium. These are all commonly used wedding floers because they are all hardy, and should all be available in May. Call around to local florists and get some quotes based on those flowers! Hope thi helps!

Reply:Roses or carnations would work, but if you have your heart set on bluebonnets you should have them. You can go to wikepedia.com and find all the info you need to know about bluebonnets. If they will not be in season dong your wedding, you can do silk and this way your bouquet will last forever.

Are you sure this is mildew? It sounds more like either an insect problem or perhaps a mineral deficiency. Watch for holes and galls in the leaves, or leaves curling around webs: a good sign of insects. If all you have is a color change, try testing your soil's PH balance, and make sure you haven't over-fertilized.





If your clematis developes white fuzzy patches, it is a sign of powdery mildew, and your plant is a goner!





Your local library should be able to provide you with some really good gardening books, that will answer a lot of your questions about plant care.
